CALIFORNIA HIGH-SPEED RAIL AUTHORITY

The California High-Speed Rail Authority is a new state agency, created by the Governor and Legislature to develop a high-speed train plan for California. The state has already completed extensive research showing that a high-speed train system is feasible. It has also identified the basic design, cost and routing options available.
